The folded pad perfectly replaces the sit pad in a size medium pack without any trimming.

It's okay. A bit thinner than I expected, but it is very light. Good for short stops.

Love this little pad! I bought it to use under my hips when side-sleeping on top of my inflatable mattress for extra comfort, and it works perfectly. It’s also great to have handy for sitting on damp logs or rocks while waiting for water to boil. The material seems tough enough to handle rough terrain. For under $25, you really can't beat the utility and weight savings. A staple in my kit now.

I've been using Gossamer Gear products for years, and this foam pad is another winner. It's incredibly lightweight, which is a huge plus for ultralight backpacking. The 1/8 inch thickness provides just enough cushioning from rocky ground without adding bulk. I use it primarily as a sit pad during lunch breaks on the trail, and it keeps me dry and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to shave ounces off their base weight.
